I caught this little guy off the back of our boat while moored in Edgartown Harbor. I put him on the cooler, took his portrait, and popped him back in the water, none the worse for wear...easy for me to say! Any how, he swam right away, so "no fish were harmed durning the filming of this image".

Both my parents were professional photographers, so it goes without saying, that I've had a camera in my hands most of my life. When I learned how to use Photoshop and how to use textures and various artist's applications, I entered a whole new universe of expression and fulfillment through photography. I have a great deal of respect for traditional, representational photography but personally, I never really felt fulfilled when I attempted to make a photograph look exactly like the scene I was attempting to capture, I guess my artistic brain is perpetually out of focus!
